The full and legally binding privacy policy is the German one at gric-it.com/datenschutz/. The summary below describes what this website does technically; it does not replace the German text.

What this website does

This is a static website. There is no content management system, no database and no user accounts. No cookies are set and no analytics are used, so no cookie banner is required.

All fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts are served from our own servers, which we operate ourselves. No third-party content is loaded — in particular no Google Fonts, no maps and no embedded videos. Visiting this site therefore transmits your IP address to no third party.

Server log files

When pages are requested, our web server processes technically necessary data: the address requested, date and time, amount of data transferred and HTTP status code, the referring page, browser type and operating system, and the IP address. This is necessary to deliver the site and to defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Log files are kept for at most 30 days and then deleted or anonymised.

Local storage

If you switch the site’s colour scheme, your browser stores that choice locally on your device (local storage, key gricit-theme). This is not transmitted to us and you can delete it through your browser settings.

Contact form

If you write to us using the form, we process the data you provide (first name, last name, email address, area of interest, company size and your message) solely in order to handle your enquiry. The data is delivered to us by email and is not passed on to third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at entering into a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You may object at any time to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR). Please contact info@gric-it.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

Details on all of the above, including retention periods and definitions, are set out in the German privacy policy.
